Drilling Augers

Short augers are mainly divided into the following types:

I)  Conical Rock Auger

II)Flat or Butterfly Rock Auger

III)      Flat or Butterfly Clay Auger

I)                   Conical Rock Auger

There are two categories of conical rock augers:

1-      Single Cut Auger

2-      Double Cut Auger

Drilling Diameter Range: 500~2500mm         

Main Applications:

1-        Single Cut and Double Cut Augers are suitable for drilling in medium to strong rock (15~60 MPa)

2-        Double Cut are recommended in bigger diameters uncased boreholes

* Other sizes can be manufactured as per customer demand

Features:

1-      Rock Pilot

2-      Hard facing strips on flights for wear protection

3-      Kelly box size as per customer demand
