Flat or Butterfly Rock Auger:

There are three categories of Flat or Butterfly Rock Auger:

1-      Single Cut Auger

2-      Double Cut Auger

3-      Double Cut Auger without Rock Pilot

Drilling Diameter Range: 500~2500mm      

Main Applications:

1-        The Single Cut and Double Cut Augers are suitable for drilling in weak fractured rock and very dense sand and gravel (Less than 5 MPa)

2-        Double Cut Augers are mainly used for bigger diameter uncased boreholes and secant piles

3-        Double Cut Auger without rock pilot are recommended for fractured rock or moderately weak to moderately strong rock (5~50 MPa)
